- Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Science
- Male/Female - with valid PRC Librarian License. at least 2 years experience as a Librarian
- with strong knowledge about the content of reference sources and databases and continually build upon their basic knowledge
- Regular in touch with all the basic reference sources, keep evaluating them and know about their effective use.
- Managing collection of books, responsible for managing a team of people within a library to ensure that the right information is available to visitors.
- Should have analytical skills to analyse databases and identify gaps in knowledge or problems to address.
- Provide good service by ensuring books and other forms of information are available to the people/students who need them.
- with excellent written, oral communications. Establishing and implementing library policies and procedures, ensuring that the library meets the needs and demands of its patrons.
- Preparing the budget and allocation funds for the library and its staff. Looking after Junior Library workers and delegating staff duties.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with external bodies such as booksellers & publishing groups.
