Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Construction Manager **to join our team In this role you are responsible for representing the PMCM on a specific Hospitality Construction Contract and to coordinate and manage construction supervision activities and Contract delivery on site project(s). Understands the day-to-day obligations of the Engineer/ Contract Administrator in construction Contracts and serves as the PMCM on-site representative to oversee the administration of projects encompassing all phases of the construction project cycle of construction time, cost and quality. Leads and coordinates a site team to include, Site Supervision Consultants, engineers, deputies, planners, commercial, document control staff and interfaces on day-to-day basis with client site representatives and contractors.

Also performs administrative and specialized technical work in reviewing and coordinating approvals of documents related to professional consultant services.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Serves as the onsite representative for the management and inspection of contractor construction activities, coordination of construction with operations and tenants, determination of appropriate contractor progress payments, processing and negotiation of changes to the work and claims, and control of contract documentation including submittal and letter processing, monitoring and reporting progress.

Supervise, provide guidance to, and coordinate efforts of the planning, design and construction management activities, assigned personnel and subconsultants within a multiple phased construction project environment
- Coordinates the resolution of construction problems and supervises the preparation of construction procedures.
- Develops and coordinate with Core team for standardized procedures for monitoring the progression of planning, design and construction phases
- Monitors project and staff to ensure that projects are progressing according to established procedures and cost, time and quality objectives
- Interfaces with project specific stakeholders, project designers and contractors on meetings, schedules and issues and to ensure procedures are followed
- Prepares reports for senior management and client indicating procedure adherence and project progress
- Ensures periodic inspection of construction activities and compiles noncompliance reports as appropriate
- Ensures that contractors are in compliance with Contract Scope, project plans and specifications
- Through the Supervision Consultant, monitors quality of work done by contractors and quality of materials used on-site.
- Evaluates progress of each project phase to determine if time schedules and cost objectives are being met
- Administers information document flow from and to designers and contractors, and ensures timely appropriate responses and actions accordingly
- Administers change order process and claims process with contracted parties and ensures sound contract management practices are employed
- Strives to ensure project time and cost objectives are met
- Train, mentor and develop staff
- Implement and follow Quality Assurance Program procedures and Management PM/CM Manual.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- A bachelor or higher degree in engineering or construction management with 20 years of construction and engineering experience directly related to general field administration on significant construction projects is required. Ten years of the experience must be in responsible construction administration assignments involving independent construction and general office engineering decisions on hospitality projects.
- Evidence of good potential growth shown by satisfactory performance in past positions
- Ability to adapt to new situations and to react objectively and expeditiously to critical and emergency construction operation engineering problems
- SUPERVISORY SKILLS: Technical competence within his own field or engineering/ architecture and is capable of leads a team and provide direction and guidance to staff members of varied functions.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Decisions made with understanding of procedures, professional standards, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to the team.
