Raytheon’s Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. These disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation, with a focus area in product support, including the following disciplines: reliability system safety and supportability.
As a **Senior** **Logistician**, you will support the AN/TPY-2 Radar team, reporting to the Radar Lead for day-to-day tasks while on location but administratively to the Section Manager.
This Onsite unaccompanied position is in Saudi Arabia, this will be an international assignment with additional compensation.
**What You Will Do**
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Logistics Support Plan: Shipping, receiving, inventory control of spares and resources, maintain calibration on test equipment, handle hazardous material, local procurement of consumables and stocking assets with attention to package and handling instructions.
- Issue parts to job orders through the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) and preparing them for delivery.
- Pack and ship material through commercial carriers and utilizing the DD1149 produced by the ALCS.
- Oversight of processing of maintenance functions and configuration management utilizing ALCS associated with the assigned Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Radar System.
- Maintaining receipts of local purchase and filing expense reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate data related to maintenance events, equipment configuration and supply.
**Travel Requirements**
- Ability to provide domestic and international on-site support as needed.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.
**Qualifications You Must Have**
- Typically requires Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Experience with logistics or system maintenance support of technical hardware and / or software in a military or civilian environment.
- Experience isolating problems and assisting in initiating results in a timely manner.
- Experience generating deliverable documents, planning activities including developing and performing presentations to the customer.
- Experience working independently within a broad scope of authority and with mínimal supervision.
- Understanding of the logistics process in providing field support.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer**
- Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Mid-level training in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to coordinate and interface effectively at all levels of the organization, across a multi-contractor and government team.
