Performs duties as the Aviation Non-destructive Inspector (NDI) level III Technician under the direction of the Back-Shop Lead. Interprets codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDI/NDT method(s). Assumes technical responsibility for the NDI/NDT facility and staff. Provides direction, training, examination, and certification of personnel on approved NDI methods. Conducts NDI/NDT for acceptance of aviation parts. Prepares forms and records related to aircraft maintenance. The NDI level III Technician will also provide technical direction and training to mentor Saudi Arabia National Guard (SANG). Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted In Accordance With (IAW) safety regulations and directives.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**

A. Duties/responsibilities:
1. Ensures that aircraft NDI activities are planned and coordinated.

2. Responsible for the compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports.

3. Develops procedures for inspecting components not listed aircraft technical manuals.

4. Establishes daily maintenance operational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation.

5. Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.

6. Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted IAW safety regulations and directives.

7. Provides On-the-Job (OJT) and formal training, coaching, and mentoring to SANG personnel.

8. Other tasks as directed by managers.

B. Supervisory Responsibilities: As directed.

**Minimum Qualifications**

A. Education Level:
1. Required: High school diploma or equivalent required.

2. Preferred: Advanced degree or equivalent.

B. Training Certifications:
1. Required: Qualified NDI level III (FAA AC 65-31B and NAS410).

2. Preferred: Qualified NDI level III (FAA AC 65-31B and NAS410) with FAA A&P certificate.

C. Experience:
1. Required: Five (5) years’ NDI experience.

2. Preferred: Five (5) years’ NDI experience on military aircraft.

D. Specific knowledge, skills, ability:
1. Comply with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports.

2. Establishes daily maintenance operational goals, objectives and priorities.

3. Ensures all related maintenance operations are conducted In Accordance With (IAW) safety regulations and directives.

4. Oversees and manages all directed NDI maintenance and OJT activities; directs and coordinates the program activities of all NDI level II aviation maintenance.

5. Develops training curriculum.

6. Schedules NDI training for VA and MNG employees.

7. Documents training using automated training management systems.

8. Other tasks as directed by the Back-Shop Lead or PC Managers.
