**Role Purpose**
The primary purpose of this role is to:
- Improve and maintain the Crisis Management Framework, Plan.
- Enhance, implement, and maintain the crisis management capability.
- Act as Crisis Coordinator.
- Lead training of Crisis Management Committee chairs, members and secretariat.
- Lead regular crisis drills and scenarios.
- Improve and maintain the Incident Management Framework.
- Coordinate with Emergency Management Framework and other complementary Frameworks.
- Provide support as needed to Business Continuity Management System.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES**
- Crisis Manager_
- Working within the Resilience team, and with senior stakeholders, modify the existing CM strategy to be in line with NEOM's fast pace of change, current trajectory, and vision, to position the program to be best in class, globally.
- Leading on all crisis management planning and response activities across NEOM. This includes developing the crisis preparedness documentation and supporting processes to ensure NEOM is well prepared to respond to crisis events.
- Execute, and push the boundaries on all crisis management exercises, broadening the focus from Public Safety to encompass all NEOM's Sectors, Regions, and other GRC Risk Domains.
- Work with external SMEs to leverage international cross sector expertise, leveraging their knowledge and enhancing the NEOM program plan.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of crisis response plans and playbooks for severe but plausible scenarios.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholder's across NEOM to ensure a collaborative approach to crisis management planning, and response.
- Maintain relevant procedures, plans and playbooks to ensure crisis management preparedness at all time.
- Lead on crisis management response including escalating and communicating critical incidents to Incident Management team and Executive Management Team.
- Lead on the planning and execution of crisis management exercises, including designing the crisis exercises, facilitating exercise sessions/workshops, and producing exercise reports.
- Support the enhancement of various documents, including frameworks, training decks etc.
**BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Proven stakeholder management skills required to work cross-organizationally to influence others, drive results and implement change. Experience of working within an incident management framework, with proven expertise of managing multiple stakeholder groups to resolve significant issues.
- Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills based upon fact and business/industry knowledge.
- Able to analyze data received from multiple points, dissect, compile to produce a holistic brief, SitReps supporting leadership decision making. Drive the AAR post event.
- Demonstrable knowledge in ISO 22361: 2022, IS0 22301:2019 and BS 11200:2014.
