Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Mechanical BIM Engineer **to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain mechanical BIM models using Revit software.
- Develop and maintain the design analysis with mechanical analytical software such as HAP.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and efficient project completion.
- Create accurate and detailed construction documentation for mechanical systems.
- Perform clash detection analysis and provide solutions to mitigate conflicts.
- Review and coordinate design changes with project managers and other engineers.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, as well as local and national codes and regulations.
- Participate in design meetings and provide technical expertise as needed.
- Research and implement new technologies and techniques to improve project efficiency and quality.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to design managers.
- Provide training and support to junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance project outcomes and team performance.
- Act as a mentor and role model to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. This will provide you with the foundational knowledge necessary to excel in this role.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the mechanical engineering / construction field field and 3 years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling and documentation are required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important
