**Project Overview**:
Bechtel and its consortium partners are excited to begin hiring the completion teams which will finalize the monumental Riyadh Metro Project (RMP), currently estimated at 94% complete. The BACS consortium, which includes Almabani General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company, and Siemens, is responsible for the design, construction, train cars, and signaling as well as electrification and integration of the new lines to the rest of the system. Riyadh’s population of nearly 6 million is forecast to increase to 8 million by 2030. The new metro system will meet the demands of the growing population while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

**Position Summary**:
Bechtel is now hiring a BIM Modeler for a full-time position in the Riyadh Metro Project. You are required to put the design and modeling skills to work on the Mechanical systems of different project facilities. This requires working closely with other modeling members, coordinators, and engineers to achieve a coordinated outcome.

**Responsibilities**:
The BIM Modeler is required to possess strong computer CAD/BIM and knowledge of the mechanical systems to produce 3D/2D dimensional models required for shop drawings and as-builts productions, coordination, and clash detection. Specific Responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate work with the BIM coordinator and Lead Engineers for timely completion of deliverables
- Support the BIM Coordinator and Lead Engineers in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
- Develop 3D/2D dimensional models required for shop drawings and as-builts preparation, clash reporting and presentation aligned with the project LOD requirements and modeling standards.
- Extract 3D models for clash analysis, schedule review and QS.
- Ensure coordination of all Model interfaces with other disciplines.
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks Manage
- Ensure all Models, drawings and deliverables are checked to comply with project and company quality standards and BIM requirements.
- Prepare the engineering drawings from the model that comprises of basic arrangements, layouts, profiles, sections etc.
- Develop and extract 2D geometry from the models for internal reviews and coordination meetings.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Certification in CAD/BIM or drafting studies is preferred
- Excellent modeling knowledge in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD
- Knowledge in Mechanical building services such as HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting.
- Good PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)

Addendum for Grade Determination:

- Grade 23: 5 years of work experience as Mechanical BIM Modeler
- Grade 24: 5+ years of work experience as Mechanical BIM Modeler
