Medina, Saudi Arabia King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre Full time

Organizes and manages the overall activities of the department including the design of construction management of the Hospital’s capital and minor projects. Ensures compliance with the latest international guidelines of the design and constructions of the healthcare facilities and ensures compliance with life safety codes and accrediting agencies requirements.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Manages the operation of all plants and networks. Ensures the proper and timely implementation of the preventive and corrective maintenance.

2. Establishes and oversees the policies and procedures for patients, visitors and staff safety.

3. Plans and manages overall operations activities of engineering services in the most efficient and professional manners.

4. Responsible for construction management of major/minor projects, as assigned.

5. Develops, recommends and reports on the initiatives and performance of the Engineering, Utilities & Maintenance Department.

6. Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of assigned service delivery process, assess and monitors workload, administrative and support systems, and internal reporting relationships; identifies opportunities for improvement.

7. Participates in overseeing all on-going projects and ensures that the timeline is followed with an adequate quality and within the allocated budget.

8. Ensures the timely preparation of annual operating budget for all assigned services/functions, and monitors and keeps expenditures within budget.

9. Participates in selecting, recruiting, training, retaining and evaluating assigned personnel. Establishes and maintains a positive working environment to implement policies, correct deficiencies and implements discipline procedures.

10. Delegates authorities, establishes and maintains a formal moan of accountability on the part of subordinates.

**Education**:
Master’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or other related discipline is required.

**Experience Required**:
Nine (9) years of related experience including four (4) years at a Senior /Supervisoryposition with Master's, or eleven (11) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
? Saudi National Only.

? Saudi Council of Engineers license is required.

? Knowledgeable in US codes and standards including NFPA, ASME, UL and ASHRAE.

? Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Primavera and/or Microsoft Projects and engineering calculation software.
