**Position Summary**

**Bechtel is looking for a Senior Contracts / Supply Chain Manager to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.**:
**The Senior Contracts / Supply Chain Manager plans and oversees all subcontracts and procurement activities required to support proposal, FEED and execution of Infrastructure projects. The Senior Contracts / Supply Chain Manager will provide supervision, guidance, and direction to contracts and procurement professionals. The Senior Contracts / Supply Chain Manager reports directly to the Project Director and receives functional guidance from the Manager of Contracts and Procurement.**:
**Typical Responsibilities**

Participates with proposal teams in defining and developing the scope of Procurement and Contracts work, and in preparing and coordinating Procurement & Contracts plans, procedures, schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets. Accountable for work product to project milestones, quality and safety standards. Works with the legal group to develop the terms and conditions for use on all proposal contract and purchase documents, ensuring that applicable prime contract requirements are incorporated. Prepares Procurement & Contracts staffing plan budgets with the assistance of functional personnel. Develops, coordinates, and makes Procurement & Contracts presentations to project and/or management personnel. Drives the development of the supply chain portion of the project execution plan, supply chain assignment schedule. Coordinates Procurement & Contracting plans with Engineering and Construction plans and Project Management to ensure that input from these functional groups will enable Procurement & Contracts to perform its operations in accordance with proposal estimating plans. Reviews commitment recommendations in accordance with Procurement & Contracts policies and procedures, and (where applicable) approving those within delegated authority. Ensures relevant recommendations receive required global business unit reviews and approvals.

Receives functional guidance from the responsible GBU Manager of Contracts and Procurement.

**Skills**
- Demonstrated experience and courses in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration and negotiation of change orders, effective correspondence, planning and scheduling
- Thorough knowledge of (sub)contract and purchase order administration, home office and field procedures and documents relating to a multi-discipline construction project
- Working knowledge of engineering/construction industry contracting, purchasing, and material management practices, applicable government and commercial regulations and practices, and Bechtel policies, procedures and work practices
- Possesses experience and knowledge of commercial management functions and work experience of a progressively responsible nature

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Construction Management or Cost Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Previous 15+ years of experience in contract formation and/or administration and/or purchasing of a medium to large scale project.
