Context:
The HSSEQ Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization adheres to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. This position is crucial for maintaining compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of safety and quality within the workplace.

The HSSEQ Lead will support the Country QHSE Manager in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of QHSE policies and procedures, ensuring that all employees are trained and aware of their responsibilities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate and collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and minimize risks.

Missions/Main Duties:

- Assist in setting up and managing the company's Work, Health and Safety policy, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in setting up and managing the Rail Safety National Law policy, processes, and procedures.
- Support the preparation and implementation of the SYSTRA Arabia 3S Roadmap.
- Report health and safety incidents in line with Company Policy.
- Verify the incorporation of safe work methodologies into work practices.
- Project Support and Sites inspections
- Support managing Ethics and Compliance activities
- Support All the ISO Activities
- Support Project QA/QC activities.- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.- Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.- Provide training and support to employees on QHSE practices and regulations.- Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics to senior management.- Collaborate with other departments to integrate QHSE practices into daily operations.- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting QHSE.- Assist in managnig relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors.- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in QHSE practices across the organization.- Support the HSEQ Manager in emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.

Profile/Skills:

- Proven experience in a QHSE management role within the engineering/construction industry
- Well experienced in safety incident investigations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in QHSE software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards.
- Experience with risk assessment and management.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent training and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective safety programs.
- Strong project management skills.
- Knowledge of environmental management systems.

- NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management
