Job Description: QHSE Specialist

**Location**: Jubail, Saudi Arabia (Onsite)

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **QHSE System Management**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
- Continuously improve the QHSE management system to enhance performance.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues.
- Develop and implement safety plans and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that all construction and engineering activities comply with quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- **Environmental Management**:

- Develop and implement environmental management plans to minimize the environmental impact of construction and engineering activities.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance and compliance.
- Promote sustainability initiatives and best practices.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date QHSE documentation, including policies, procedures, records, and reports.
- Prepare and present QHSE performance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.
- **Collaboration and Support**:

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure QHSE standards are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and contractors on QHSE matters.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QHSE roles within the construction and design engineering sectors.
- Professional certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) and quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001).
- In-depth knowledge of local and international QHSE regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in QHSE management software and tools.

**Skills**:

- Comprehensive understanding of QHSE principles and practices.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Capability to lead and conduct safety training and awareness programs.
- Proficiency in using QHSE management systems and software.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼8,000.00 per month
