Description:
**Main Accountabilities**:

- Develop the strategy and objectives of the Information TechnologyDepartment, and the general policies and directions that ensure the achievement of the company's strategy.
- Contribute to the development of information technology policies and procedures.
- Preparing annual plans for the company's needs of devices, equipment, systems, software and networks.
- Presenting proposals and recommendations regarding the development of the company's technical business.
- Preparing the annual budget for the department and maintaining all costs and expenditures within the established budget.
- Studying and following up on all developments in information technology, evaluating new products that are presented in the market, and knowing how to integrate them into the current systems to improve efficiency and reduce work cycle costs, and ensure the modernization of the company's systems in a way that contributes to the development of work systems.
- Preparing plans to develop the performance of employees in the company in the areas of computer use, systems and technologies.
- Continuously developing the company's website.
- Developing an integrated information security system to protect the information network from intrusions, piracy and misuse.
- Develop and implement an emergency plan for information systems (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan).
- Evaluating all devices, equipment, networks and means of communication in the company on a regular basis and submitting proposals.
- Preparing maintenance plans for the company's equipment and networks.
- Determining the strategy of purchasing information technology equipment from approved suppliers in coordination with the Procurement Department.
- Coordination with the Procurement Department to select the best external parties and specialists in the implementation of development and maintenance work for the company's equipment and networks.
- Manage databases in the company and prepare and maintain backup copies.
- Managing and distributing powers to users and tightening security control over the use of systems and programs in the company.
- Providing reliable information systems for plant operations, maintenance and information management.
- Provide direction and leadership to all employees within the IT department to ensure effective and efficient work flow.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the administration and that the tasks and responsibilities are exercised on the basis of the powers table.
- Ensure the quality of the performance of information technology systems.
- Measuring the effectiveness and development of information technology functions used by Company.
- Providing direction and guidance on information technology projects to achieve the desired goals by utilizing the available resources.
- Preparing periodic reports on work.
- Constant and effective communication.
- Ensuring that all IT department activities meet the ongoing needs of the company.
**Safety Responsibility**:

- Monitor the implementation of Safety procedures.
- Organize the safety training of his team according to the safety training plan.
- Organize or carry out the monthly controls of the equipment in terms of health, work and fire protection according to safety plan.
- Address any identified dangerous situations.

**Performance Criteria**:

- Fulfills the obligations of the IT department as per the job description.

**Pre-requisite to this position**:

- Bachelor/BSc degree in information technology
- 15 - 18 years of experience, of which 5 years should be in a Head of Section/Managerial role.
- Extensive experience in Industry field.
- General Understanding of all business functions.
- English: Read & Talk Fluently >SAP
