Storeman

**Major Responsibilities & Duties performed**:

- **Unloading of receiving material by manual or forklift (during unavailability of FL operator) according to the nature of the material.**:

- **Shifting the material from receiving area to main warehouse locations as per the guidelines from FM/storekeeper or store officer.**:

- **Re-arrangement of complete warehouse materials under direct guidance of FM/storekeeper, storage operator or superiors of stores as and when required.**:

- **Affixing the identification tags to the materials as per given guidelines.**:

- **Cleaning and housekeeping of entire stores offices, wash rooms, kitchen to maintain neat and clean, including warehouse storage areas. Prepare and serve tea for stores staff as required.**:

- **Carrying out daily housekeeping in the stores & yards (storage areas/bins/locations/offices etc. Cleanliness and neatness maintenance of area is a direct and standing responsibility of store man.**:

- **Use all safety methods while handling the materials.**:

- **Assisting the storekeeper in issuing the materials to the users.**:

- **Assisting the foreman or store keeper for general office works.**:

- **To follow the work instructions given in detail separately.**:

- **Helping in material issuance & receipts physically and movements as advised by superiors in the stores.
