Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

- Ladle Preparation (Cleaning with oxygen lancing, slide gate plate, nozzles and porous plug dismantling and re-fixing, patching and nozzle sand filling etc.).
- Preheater operation and ladle gunning. Job is in hot environment and dusty atmosphere.
- Ladle health monitoring and reporting.
- Ladle shift logbook maintaining.
- Reports to refractory shift supervisor.
- To perform refractory related other jobs in all areas like EAF, LF, CCM and associated units in Steel Melt Shop as instructed by the refractory shift supervisor.
- Get feedback from Shift reliever and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Make sure all PPE used during ladle preparation activities & Follow Company Safety rules regulations & follow work procedure.
