**Job summary**

**MISSION**:
Responsible for designing and executing structural components for civil works and infrastructure projects, including structural analysis, design, and collaboration with project teams.

**TASKS**:

- Leading the structural design and analysis of components for civil works and infrastructure projects, including bridges, buildings, and other structures;
- Utilizing industry-standard software and tools to perform structural calculations and ensure compliance with safety and project specifications;
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, architects, and project managers, to integrate structural designs seamlessly into overall project plans;
- Participating in project meetings to align structural designs with project objectives and timelines;
- Selecting appropriate materials for structural elements, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity, environmental conditions, and project-specific requirements;
- Working closely with materials engineers to optimize material performance;
- Implementing and overseeing quality control measures to verify the accuracy and compliance of structural designs;
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure construction adheres to approved structural plans;
- Ensuring that structural designs and constructions comply with safety regulations, industry codes, and project-specific safety protocols;
- Conducting structural safety assessments and implement risk mitigation measures;
- Generating detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports;
- Providing regular project updates and reports to project stakeholders, highlighting structural design milestones and challenges.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer in a structural design consultancy firm;
- Proficiency in structural design softwares (ETABS, SAP2000);
- Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulations related to structural engineering;
- Fluent level of written and spoken English.

- Location: NEOM, KSA;
- Contract duration: 1 year (extandable);
- Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;
- Starting date: February 2024.
