Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Principal Electrical Engineer **to join our team In this role you will get to l ead the electrical engineering discipline within the Engineering Department. Responsibility for leading the steering group tasked with implementing the power strategy to develop the Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries (JCPDI)

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Reports to the PTS Supervisor.

Brings strong leadership to the Power Team Group.
- Steers policy and strategy for all JCPDI substation projects and a new power station.
- Manages interfaces with AE consultants, management and other RC departments.
- Supervises and coordinate activities of other personnel assigned to him.
- Mentors Junior Electrical Engineers assigned to them.
- Interfaces with Project Management Department (PMD) and Construction Department (CD) for the funding, technical advice and reporting project status.
- Coordinates with relevant RC departments, stakeholders, and external agencies (SEC/NG, Saudi Aramco, Marafiq, SWCC etc.)

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Assumes a leadership role for electrical engineering within the Engineering Department in JCPDI. Responsibility for driving a challenging program to implement power strategy in line with development of an industrial city undergoing a period of rapid growth.
- Develops scope of work for design tasks in coordination with EPS, TSS and stakeholders.
- Coordinate in preparation of review and issuance of Task Orders.
- Assists in coordinating the compilation of technical portions of Requests for Proposal (RFP) for both the design and construction portions of assigned projects.
- Coordinates with Technical Support Section (TSS) for the development of design specifications.
- Coordinates with Urban Planning Department (UPD) on the wider JCPDI power strategy and discussions on land use.
- Responsible for managing electrical inputs and strategy for to future Master Plans.
- Assists in compiling technical portions of definitive contracts.
- Coordinates the review of design drawings, specifications, manuals, shop drawings, vendor data, calculations and other technical information submitted by A/E construction contractor for all phases of contract.
- Provides requested technical information to A/E or construction contractor regarding interpretation of specifications, and other technical guidance as required.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of Project Engineers and other personnel assigned to him.
- Prepares reports and presentations on assigned projects. Coordinates with PMD progress reporting and evaluation for the assigned projects.
- Provides technical support during pre-award stage including but not limited to Bidders Q&As, addendums, bid evaluation, release of final IFC drawings etc.
- Provides post award support during construction.
- Provides assistance to TSS with design reviews as required.
