Bladesmith - Manufacturer Knives and Daggers

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 7 years Experience
- Experience in leather work highly regarded
- Must be fluent in English
- Certificates in metalworking, blacksmithing, or related fields highly regarded
- Ability to work in a team

**JOB DESRIPTION**
- Craft high-quality blades such as knives, swords, and other bladed weapons using traditional or modern techniques.
- Work with various materials including steel, iron, and alloys to forge, shape, heat-treat, and finish blades according to specifications.
- Design and customize blades to meet the specific requirements and preferences of clients or customers.
- Repair and maintain blades, including sharpening, re-profiling, and restoring damaged or worn blades to their original condition.
- Use specialized tools and equipment such as anvils, hammers, forges, grinders, and heat-treating furnaces to fabricate and finish blades.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with hot metal and operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Continuously refine and develop skills through practice, experimentation, and ongoing education in the field of blade smithing.
- Collaborate with Supervisor, designers, and other craftsmen to ensure that finished blades meet desired specifications and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.

**LOCATION**

Amman, Jordan

The client will arrange the work visa and provide relocation if not local.
