**Job description**

**JOB SUMMARY**

In line with Company Objectives and the Company Vision, the Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting the Chief Accountants in executing the daily accounts activities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Verifies and posts transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
- Prepares statements, invoices and vouchers. May handle balancing and reconciliations.
- Processes payments and documents such as invoices, journal vouchers, employee reimbursements, and statements.
- Verifies items billed against items ordered and received and reconciles differences through follow-up with the vendor and/or other employees.
- Enters, updates, and/or retrieves accounting data from automated systems.
- Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system, according to instructions.
- Retrieves system reports.
- Disburses funds using petty cash and makes change according to specific instructions.
- Endorses warrants or money orders, prepares account deposit, and deposits money as directed.
- Files and/or removes records and reports.
- Deals with daily bank deposits, transactions, and collections.
- Performs related work as assigned.

**Qualifications and Education**:

- Accounting Graduate
- Very Good English Language

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 per month
