**Position Description**:
We are seeking a Strategist that will be responsible, under the general direction of the head of the Human Resources and Corporate Services P&PM organization or his/her designee, for overseeing just about every aspect of the business to ensure strategic plans are working effectively and that the Business Line will remain competitive. The incumbent is expected to support the Business Line Organizations to develop business improvement plans and strategies and monitor their execution. Participates in analysis and strategy development that addresses short-term and long-term highly complex issues and problems as required by senior management. Mentors, trains, and develops others.

**Minimum Requirements**:
A bachelors degree from a leading college or university in Business.
Administration, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics, or in a related field.
It is preferred to have an advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, PMP).
A minimum of 10 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity firm or similar organization.
You must have significant demonstrable work experience in the practice of strategy development, review and implementation. Also, a strong knowledge of business case development is required.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**You will be required to perform the following**:
Monitor, evaluate and analyze market landscape, trends, competition,
benchmarks, opportunities and threats.
Identify the needs of the business organization and develop plans to determine the overall direction it should take to actualize its goals.
Develop & communicate strategies (planning, prioritization, and decision making) to address competition, changes in customer preference, and improvements in technology and marketing tools.
Execute strategic plan including development of new businesses, investment strategies and put plans into action.
Work independently on day-to-day management of large
- and medium-scale projects related to key business line initiatives.
Facilitate workshops, translate conclusions into recommendations, or help design and implement large-scale organizational change programs.
Support the annual planning process, tying budgets to projects and outcomes.
Address business problems, take a long-term perspective, but can also execute on near term monthly goals. Identify operational inefficiencies, and develop solutions including resource requirements, timing, and risks.
Build appropriate external and internal presentation materials on the Business Line
Strategies, Vision, Missions, etc...
Support ad-hoc management requests, analyses and reports.

**Communication skills**: Applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate the insights from findings to management and relevant stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to influence for impact and ability to produce top quality written and oral reports in English.

**ESG knowledge**: knowledge of a diverse array of sustainability issues ranging from social impacts to communities to technical, environmental and economic impacts associated with key issues.

**Sector of Experience**: Experience in one or more of the following fields: aviation, marine, medical services, housing, utilities, transportation, safety, security, loss prevention, human resources, public affairs, corporate affairs.
