**Context**:
Comprising a large area in the southwest corner of NEOM, the core urban environment of OXAGON is centered around the integrated port and logistics hub that will house the majority of the city’s anticipated residents. The unique octagonal design minimizes impact on the environment and provides optimal land usage, with the remainder open to preserve 95% of the natural environment. A defining feature of the city is the world’s largest floating structure, which will become a center for NEOM’s Blue Economy and achieve sustainable growth. OXAGON will establish the world’s first fully integrated port and supply chain ecosystem for NEOM. The port, logistics and rail delivery facility will be unified, providing world-class productivity levels with net-zero carbon emissions, setting global benchmarks in the adoption of technology and environmental sustainability.

We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our team by recruiting Stakeholder/Interface Engineers. The objective of the Interface Engineer is to facilitate agreements with other stakeholders regarding roles & responsibilities, timing for providing interface information and identification of critical interfaces early in the project through a structured process.

This is a technical position to provide strong interface with various government agencies and stakeholders by maintaining close interaction and liaison to ensure that quality deliverables are produced smoothly, within time and budget.

**Main duties**:

- Liaise with the delivering parties and all affected stakeholders (including government agencies, communities, third parties & clients) to assure that the project objectives are being delivered to the quality, schedule, budget, sustainability, legacy and other requirements of the programme
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and integration to achieve programme objectives for scope, budget, time, quality, sustainability, etc.
- Participate in working groups addressing permitting and approvals, logistics, interface management, business process efficiency, HSSE, sustainability, legacy, and other areas affecting programme delivery
- Cooperate with municipalities and approving authorities
- Evaluate design documents to assess sufficiency for construction purposes
- Actively participate in work groups aimed at providing solutions to delivery challenges, such as construction logistics, supply chain, sustainability, social concerns, and legacy.
- Monitors the status of the interface agreements on a regular basis by having periodic Interface Meetings or teleconferences between the parties to review the progress on the Interface Registers that are derived from the Interface Database
- Assist in the collection and analysis of project performance data (e.g., schedule, cost, safety, resource requirements, and sustainability) from stakeholders
- Foresee programme risks and offer real-time mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize their impact on the project
- Producing regular reports indicating the interface progress. Usually on a monthly basis and included in the monthly project progress report

- Bachelor degree in Civil engineering

**Technical skills**:

- Requisite number of years of relevant work experience (at least 15 years), including both design and construction of complex infrastructure projects
- Strong track record as Interface/Stakeholder Engineer
- High degree of technical proficiency in the successful delivery of programmes and/or projects of similar size and complexity.
- Able to produce technical reports in a clear and concise manner

**Personal qualities**:

- Strong coordination and organization skills.
- Able to communicate with different level of people in a multi-national project environment and motivate the project activities for timely delivery
