**Job Description**:

- To develop, implement and improve at the portfolio level the project controls monitoring, reporting and management system for our Client's complex and large scale infrastructure and building programmes. The project controls system to include, but not be limited to the following functions:

- Schedule and time performance;
- Commercial performance;
- Health, safety, and environmental performance;
- Worker accommodation standards performance;
- Risk performance;
- Quality performance; and Customer and stakeholder performance.
- To undertake the analysis of performance and to prepare high quality and timely reports to Client's senior management on the performance of the departments, programs and projects. To advise on strategies and actions to improve the delivery of the projects and how to improve the performance of the departments. To prepare and present presentations on performance to senior management;
- To develop and improve the performance measurement and performance management system used for project controls, including data collection, analysis and the reporting;
- To lead on behalf of Client's corporate objectives and targets. To undertake the annual review and update of corporate KPIs. To provide regular updates of performance to senior management;
- To have oversight of the lessons learned process;
- To develop, review and improve Client's written processes, procedures and guidelines for the project controls function; and
- To develop the capability of more junior staff, in particular the development and training of employees.

**Qualifications**:
Essential
- Degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or an equivalent technical qualification
- Electricity sector (renewables, transmission and decarbonisation) experience.
- Minimum 5 - 15 years Project Controls, Planning, Project Management experience

Desirable
- Recognised Project Management Qualification
- Membership or chartership of a recognised professional industry body, such as RICS
