- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment on-site.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Perform precision alignment and calibration of machinery.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and fix mechanical issues.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize machine performance.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
- Provide technical support and training to customers as needed.

**What You Bring**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a machinist, preferably in a field service or on-site role for Gas Turbine, and Steam Turbine.
- Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machines, including lathes, milling machines, honing machines, bore machines and grinders.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, techniques, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical machine drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel to various customer sites as required 80 % of the year.
