**Job Title: Technical Director - Infrastructure**

**What this job involves**:

- ** Rerouting and Redesigning Strategy**:The technical director of infrastructure will develop a comprehensive strategy for rerouting and redesigning infrastructure elements affected by the introduction of a water canal. This involves assessing the impact of the canal on existing infrastructure and determining the new routes and designs required.
- ** Infrastructure Assessment**:The technical director will conduct a thorough assessment of the existing infrastructure, such as roads, utilities, and other relevant systems, that will be impacted by the introduction of the water canal. This assessment will help identify the specific areas that need to be rerouted or redesigned.
- ** Stakeholder Coordination**:The technical director will collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, architects, and government agencies, to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the rerouting and redesigning process. This may involve conducting meetings, facilitating discussions, and obtaining necessary approvals.
- ** Design and Engineering**:The technical director will oversee the redesign process, working closely with design and engineering teams. They will provide technical guidance and ensure that the new designs meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives. This includes considering factors such as hydraulic flow, drainage, and structural integrity.\
- ** Project Planning and Scheduling**:The technical director will develop project plans and schedules for rerouting and redesigning activities. They will establish timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure that the work is completed within specified timeframes and budget constraints.
- ** Cost Estimation and Budgeting**:The technical director will collaborate with the project management team to estimate the costs associated with the rerouting and redesigning activities. The above are additional to the standard day to day PM procedures/ tasks. He will be involved in other activities on daily basis.
