**Position Objectives**:
The Data Governance and Compliance Analyst develops and applies guidance and procedures, aiming at the full compliance of a project in relation to protection of data, consistent with project requirements and applicable laws.

**Job Description & Responsibilities**:
Provide strategic & tactical CS & Data Governance guidance.
Develop Security policies, standards, and processes that are aligned with the business needs of the company and address applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with CS incident response team, provide oversight over security investigations
Identify opportunities to improve Cyber Security and Data Governance posture, procedures and methodologies.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards
Participate in the development and implementation of Cyber Security and Data Governance plans, in line with the corporate objectives.
Provide support (where requested) in developing solutions for remediating or mitigating risks and assessing the residual risk.
Develop and implement an effective policy compliance monitoring and enforcement program.
Coordinate the use of external third party resources involved in developing, implementing, and monitoring the information Security program, including performing penetration tests.
Evaluate Cyber Security and Data protection controls for information systems during the requirements, acquisition, development, and testing phases for compliance with the organization's policies, standards, and procedures.
Conduct post-implementation reviews of systems to determine whether project deliverables, controls, and the organization's requirements are met.
Following up the network Security standardization in the multi-vendor environments according to the well-known international standards.
Identify weaknesses and potential threats to existing Cyber Security and Data protection toolsets.
Report to management on the effectiveness of the Cyber Security and data governance program, including policy violations, Security risks, and progress of all Security-related remedial actions and metrics.
Provide advice on operation Security and incident handling to SOC for mitigating the risk

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications or Computer Science, from a university or equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 5 years experience in Telecom and Network Security.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Good knowledge of Network Security technologies.
Good understanding of Mobile and Fixed Networks.
Good knowledge of Cyber Security and Data Protection tools.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English language (additionally, Arabic is desirable).
Relevant certifications on Cyber Security, such as Security+ or CEH advantageous.
