**Your new role, what's involved?**
- **Environmental Management & Compliance**:

- Lead environmental assessments, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian environmental regulations, as well as international environmental standards.
- Develop, implement, and oversee environmental management systems (EMS) for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical expertise on environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance requirements throughout project phases.
- **Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)**:

- Conduct and manage Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for various projects, identifying potential environmental impacts and recommending mitigation measures.
- Ensure that EIAs meet all local and international requirements and are submitted in a timely and efficient manner.
- **Sustainability Initiatives**:

- Promote and integrate sustainable practices into project planning, design, and execution.
- Advise on best practices for waste management, energy efficiency, water conservation, and sustainable construction practices.
- **Technical Leadership & Mentoring**:

- Provide technical leadership to the environmental engineering team, ensuring high-quality environmental solutions.
- Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**:

- Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and clients to ensure environmental compliance and address any concerns.
- Represent WSP in meetings, public consultations, and discussions regarding environmental impact and sustainability.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Prepare and review environmental reports, assessments, and studies for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to environmental policies, assessments, and regulatory compliance.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental engineering, with expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- At least 5 years of work experience with international companies, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
- Proven experience in environmental impact assessments, environmental management systems, and regulatory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian environmental regulations and international environmental standards.
- Strong understanding of sustainability practices, waste management, and resource conservation.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
