TRS are currently working for a shipyard in Saudi Arabia to help them find a Senior Engineer to join the company working in the shipyard infrastructure department.

**The role**:
Senior Engineer is responsible for the coordination of all elements relating to the project design & execution, ensuring compliance in accordance with design standards, Company Policy and Quality Management System.

**Responsibilities**:
Review and analyze design deliverables (drawings, documents & specifications) for compliance to specified codes, standards, company quality policy and practices.
Working knowledge of ASME, ASTM, ISO, API, MSSP, NACE and other relevant standards and requirements.
Provide overall support to Yard activities for Package 4, 5 & 6 (Yard infra structure project) with internal and external stakeholders.
Feasibility studies for different open areas / Workshops / Warehouses / Admin & process buildings within the Yard is to be developed when requirement arises with support of other functions as necessary.
Accountable for the JV scope (machinery /Assets related projects) and Govt. scope (Infra structure project) related TQ’s received from NBD/SAPMT, and to respond these queries within the stipulated time allotted.
To coordinate and respond the JV and Govt scope related structural testing / commissioning / FAT / endurance procedures received from NBD / PMT by supporting other departments as and when received. To follow up and coordinate with NBD for the 1000t Crawler crane design comments which is in Govt. scope and ensure the detail design is acceptable by all stakeholders prior to the construction and assembly of Crane.
To coordinate with internal departments and respond to supplier who are performing the the shipyard assessment study.
To follow up and coordinate the 3D Bim & 4D Bim final model of the Yard that shall be handed over by NBD/PMT once the detail design is completed.
To coordinate and assist other departments in Detail design constructional requirements of the Yard.
Must be proactive and able to multitask work based on multiple requirements arising through different departments. Also, an initiative to propose and implement new development ideas will have a significant influence.
Participating SIL, HAZOP and production process flow workshops.
Lift study sequencing and construction feasibility check to be performed as and when required.
Communicate with key stakeholders offering technical input to resolve identified inter-discipline conflict during project design or execution phase.
Utilize knowledge of asset management standards ISO 55000/1/2 and implement during project execution phase as necessary.
Work with HSE to engineer out identified potential risks or hazards, to provide a safe working environment for all employees. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) responsibilities.
Awareness of the Risk Management system, Risk Register, Lesson learned Register & respective responsibilities.
Monitor and manage equipment installation, ensuring that best in class returns is achieved.
Manage required documentation & certification during project execution according to Document Control Policy & Procedure.

**Requirements**:
Qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Demonstrates ability to listen to the views of others and respond in a logical, well thought out manner without the need to resort to authority.
Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Knowledge of maintenance and condition assessment methodologies of assets, i.e., mechanical, chemical, and material test, as well as applicable acceptance criteria, guides, and standards.
Prepare technical advice on safe design & constructions.
The ability to manage large multi-disciplinary teams, across a broad range of technologies.
Well-developed presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Resilient under stress and capable of managing competing priorities.
Experience in working with diverse cultures.
Understanding of Asset Management/ERP systems and relevant ISO/IEC Standards.
Computer proficient in Computer aided technology for simulations, 2D/3D AutoCAD, Aveva design software, Navisworks, BIM, Word, Excel, Project etc.
Min. 15 years of experience within engineering discipline in Shipbuilding, oil & gas, or equivalent industry.
