**Role**:
Perform conceptual, FEED, Studies, and detailed analyses and design as per design basis, project specifications, design codes and standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Executing mechanical discipline work within a project team, supporting the development of oil and gas production facilities.
- Planning, budgeting, organizing, and controlling a segment of the mechanical engineering deliverables for the project.
- Preparing Mechanical deliverables for a project Front End Engineering Design (FEED) in the oil and gas industry, ensuring compliance with applicable engineering codes, standards, and the Client’s policies and procedures.
- Ensuring all work is completed with uncompromised quality and delivered according to the project schedule.
- Providing direction and guidance on mechanical engineering technical queries from internal or external parties.
- Collaborating with the Client’s Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance staff as needed to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.
- Promoting safe behavior throughout the project.
- Offering sound technical advice and solutions to various technical problems within the discipline.
- Coordinating with other disciplines during design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up stages.
- Assisting in the coordination of all activities related to mechanical engineering design.
- Identifying any areas of concern regarding progress and/or quality, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Ideally possessing experience in rotating, power generation, static equipment, and mechanical package engineering for Oil & Gas projects.
- Demonstrating a thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of mechanical engineering design and analysis.
- Maintaining a comprehensive awareness of relevant international codes and standards.
- Being familiar with typical software packages used for mechanical engineering design.
- Demonstrating experience with Concept Selection and FEED studies.

**Minimum Qualifications and Educational Requirements**:
Qualifications:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc./B.Eng./M.Sc.).
- Membership in a recognized professional institute is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- At least 6 years of proven capability in an engineering design company.
- Operational support, construction, and commissioning experience.
- Strongly preferred experience working with multinational and multicultural project teams.
- Previous experience working in the Middle East would be advantageous.
- Experience in sour service operations would be advantageous.
- Bachelor honors degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Professional Accreditation from a recognized institute is preferable.
- Preferably, previous experience in PMC (Project Management Consultancy).
