**Job Brief**

The Clearing Officer is a pivotal role in our supply chain department, responsible for managing and overseeing the customs clearance process for imports and exports. This role involves coordinating with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant clearance of goods.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Monitor shipment arrival, coordinates with the shipping service providers (Forwarder/Couriers)
- Ensures proper documentation thru validating the Shipping Documents received from the Logistics Coordinator.
- Process duty exemption Approval.
- Facilitates shipment loading at the Port / Airport (once the customs pass is granted).
- Coordinates with Fleet for DO collection, bank deposit, and loading from the port/airport.
- Timely updates the ERP thru logging important shipment progress and adjusting the schedule date accordingly.
- Coordinates with the Warehouse to ensure that orders are received in good condition and are validated in the ERP on time.
- Other relevant duties as assigned by direct manager.
