Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Working within mechanical maintenance department to strict EHS and quality requirements, help to achieve daily maintenance requirements to meet internal and external customer expectations and requirements.

To support the multi-functional / dimensional Mechanical Maintenance Team within the plant, while always ensuring that assets are managed, maintained and operated at world class standards in the areas of safety, quality, and cost. To be an active and integral member of the Mill Leadership Team. Providing input on strategic and tactical plans for the Plant.

**Responsibilities**
**Environment, Health and Safety**
- Drive a world class safety culture within the Mechanical Maintenance functions, while driving a ZERO reportable injury frequency rate within the facility.
- Support EHS culture change and ensure compliance to internal & external regulations and to the Company Safety Performance, Health and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures
- Comply to all safety objectives and follow all the safe work instructions and SOPs
- Ensure that all the machine EHS guards and interlocks are working properly
- First Contact person for fire protection system, fall protection and others
**Quality & Compliance**
- ensuring quality targets are met as per objectives of the facility, by ensuring assets are maintained to the correct standard.
- Continually comply with all KCC, Regulatory & Control requirements, while at all-times driving accountability and compliance within the Mechanical Maintenance teams
**Main Responsibilities**
- Support Mechanical team to undertake a range of maintenance department and be responsible in delivering Mechanical department KPI’s.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles, and support sustainability and Continuous Improvement programs within maintenance department and ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality level using 5S methodology, energy optimization, SAP PM, TPM, Operating Excellence and maintenance effectiveness improvement. And Machinery Reliability Improvement Programs.
- Implement, execute, and document all Preventive maintenance activities.
- Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve, with mínimal downtime to production and Carry out diagnosis of faults and Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems. Ensure all lost time, minor and trivial accidents are reported and Promote environmental issues and ensure all company procedures are understood and followed and Ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare Mechanical department budget, track spending, analyze cost and lead cost improvement strategy. And be responsible on leading areas of development to achieve operational cost KPIs.
- Be responsible about facility management maintenance performance in cooperation with all concerned third parties and contractors.
- Create Mechanical department short
- and long-term strategy in accordance with company vision, delivering the strategy to support mill KPI's. Lead Mechanical team transformation to new modern style.
- Lead Mechanical team Learning, Coaching, career development plans and be responsible on execution of the training matrix and drive multifunction development improvement to build talents and develop employees' skills. And Lead the Inclusions and Diversity culture and provide a communication point between Mechanical department and all other cross functions and Act as first point of contact.
- Manage Self & Team Development and Willing for Learning and Coaching.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree is a must
- Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in industrial manufacturing within multinational organization
- Saudi Nationality is preferable (as per government requirement)
- Saudi Engineers Council “SEC” Membership Certificate
- Excellent business acumen, management, and Leadership skills
- Good English communication skills
