**Position Title**:
**Subject Matter Expert - Specialization Automation/Robotics**

**Job Type**:

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

**Background**:
We are currently establishing a new automotive Academy in Saudi Arabia with a strong focus on topics related to advanced manufacturing and electro-mobility. To set up, develop and operate the Academy we are currently looking for **multiple technical experts** in different disciplines.

**Required from**:
Starting date will be ASAP

**Responsibilities and Tasks**:
The specialist on the discipline **Automation/PLC/Robotics** is part of the team of training experts with the following tasks and responsibilities:

- You are able to develop and document training programs, covering the documentation of related training modules, module descriptions, teaching materials, competence assessment standards, selection of training hardware and operating the technical hardware
- You are responsible for preparing and delivering practical trainings in a fully equipped technical training centre, leading and moderating classroom teaching
- Integrates best industry practice into the training programs

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience with ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, KUKA, Motoman, Nachi, and/or other industrial robots
- Practical work experience in the field of installation, commissioning and maintenance of industrial robots and complex mechatronic production equipment required
- Must have prior robotic programming knowledge and should be able to help others create robot paths and develop programs
- Understanding of electrical/electronic schematic diagrams, blueprints, and good practical experience in pneumatic/hydraulic control systems
- Experience in Siemens SPS programing - SIMATIC S7-1500, Ethernet, Profinet, TIA Portal is regarded as special asset
- Possess a basic ability to set up I/O structure, robot start-up, and various fieldbus networks
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Able to fully communicate in English language

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jeddah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, KUKA or other industrial robots: 3 years (preferred)
