**Job Description and Qualifications**

**V. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**

An approved QAQC Welding Engineer / NDT Coordinator has the responsibility and commensurate authority to accomplish the following duties:

- Reporting Directly to the Site QAQC Manager.
- Monitoring and implementation of QMS Procedures, PQP, ITP & method statements and reporting deviations from the management system and contractual requirements of the project.
- Verifying that all necessary inspections and tests, as required on the project and by statutory regulations, are carried out and appropriate records are updated and maintained.
- Review / approved NDE procedures.
- WPS / PQR review and approval Control of Weld Defect / Rejection rates and Repair actions / penalty status.
- Review results of Radiography/, UT(MUT - Manual UT), AUT (Automatic UT - ToFD or Phased Array), Magnetic Particle, and Liquid Penetrant Testing.
- Verification of implementation of corrective & preventive actions against the nonconformities and reporting results to Quality Manager.
- Preparation and review of final quality dossiers / test packs.
- Compile and submit weekly report to QAQC Manager.
- Liaise with QAQC Manager for all aspects of quality.

**This position is accountable for the following end results**:
**V. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma holder or bachelor’s degree -in Relevant discipline Engineering.
- Total 12 year of Experience of which 08yrs QC experience with direct scope description as Welding inspector/or supervisor.
- Saudi Aramco CBT Passed & project Approval.
- Knowledge of the ISO-9000 series International Standards
- Hold current Welding Inspector Certification in either CSWIP-3.1 or AWS.
- Welding CSWIP 3.2, PCN or aramco RTFI certified (Preferred Qualification)
- Familiarity with Codes ASME IX, ASME B31.3, ASME V, ASTM and API.
- ASNT Level II NDT qualifications by ASNT (or equivalent nationally recognized and Approved program) in RT, MT, PT & UT.(Preferred Qualification)
- Strong Microsoft software skills, particularly Excel
- Report writing skills
- Experience of working in a multicultural project team
- Middle East project experience

**Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
- Saudi Aramco CBT Passed & approval.
