We need our Construction Specialists to be versatile, experienced leading teams and who have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills. In this role, you will oversee the scheduling and control of construction materials and equipment to ensure effective and timely completion of the project. You may develop design of the main field warehouse, warehouse office, outside storage yard, and other related facilities for total materials and equipment handling and technical operation of th e field warehouse and tool room. Coordinates all available data to give accurate advance delivery information to the senior construction site manager and staff for future job planning.
**Responsibilities**:
Serves as the focal point for the scheduling and control of construction materials and equipment at the job site.
Designs storage facilities and establishes material and equipment inventory and tracking systems.
Establishes warehouse procedures for the control of piping, valves, fittings and electrical, instrumentation, and consumable supplies and tools.
Expedites both field and home office purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Oversees receiving, offloading, storage, and issuance of construction materials.
May be responsible for field purchasing.
May train and provide technical guidance for personnel in use of DMCS entry and reports.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be a ppropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction related field (or equivalent construction related work experience)
- Min 5 years of related experience in fit-out projects like high executive villas, hotels, shopping centers etc.
- Proficient PC skills including a familiarity with various software used for inventory control, such as Document and Materials Controls System (DMCS), are also required.
