**Position Summary**

Jubail is one of Bechtel’s most remarkable achievements—a city built from the sand up, requiring vast resources and logístical planning on an unprecedented scale. It the biggest civil engineering project in modern times—and it's getting bigger. Bechtel has managed the Jubail project, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, since it began in the mid-1970s. Bechtel serves as the Management Services Contractor (MSC), or “owner’s representative” for our client, the Royal Commission (RC). We are the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) managers, managing design submissions from local AE firms, and overseeing the actual construction work being performed by local contractors and sub-contractors in Jubail Industrial City. In June 2021, Bechtel’s contract with the Royal Commission was renewed for another 5 years with work focusing on building new residential communities, iconic buildings/ bridges, major site preparation, commercial buildings, mosques, schools, hospitals, sports facilities, clinics, universities, utility services and infrastructure (electrical sub-stations, lift stations), roads and highways, port & pipeline expansions, and more.

**Major Responsibilities**:
**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES**:

- Implementing Cyber security policies to achieve the security objectives of the system.
- Link incident data to identify vulnerabilities.
- Analyze logs from multiple sources to identify potential network security threats.
- Analyzing cyber defense trends and submitting reports on them.
- Performs technical and non-technical assessments of risks and vulnerabilities for the organization's technical environments.
- Make recommendations to enable effective treatment of vulnerabilities.
- Enhancing cyber defense tools.
- Describe and analyze network traffic, to identify anomalous activities and potential threats to network resources.
- Coordination with the rest of the cyber defense staff to verify the credibility of network alerts.
- Provide daily reports of network events and other activities related to cyber security in line with the policies and requirements of the RCJY.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
**Essential Technical**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer or cyber security or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in the field of cyber security.
- Preference is given to holders of professional certificates in the field of cybersecurity as follows: Network+, Security+, CEH, CIH, eLS
- Incident handling & response professional, SANS SEC511 or SEC487 or SEC450, CCNA Ops
- Identifying, detecting, containing and reporting malicious code, software.
- Knowledge of intrusion detection techniques to detect intrusions related to hosting and networks.
- Determining the normal operational status of security systems and how that situation is affected by change
- Assessing the adequacy of security designs.
- Knowledge of virtual machines.
- Securing network connections.
- Ability to efficiently identify and classify the types of vulnerabilities and related attacks.
- Using network protection components.
- Conducting security audits or reviews of technical systems.
- Security defense of the system, networks and operating system.
- Identify security system vulnerabilities.
- Using risk ratings to achieve high performance and cost-effectiveness in order to assist the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) in managing cybersecurity risks.
- Collecting data from a variety of cybersecurity sources.
- Trend analysis.
- Analyze gaps and data settings to identify cybersecurity issues.
- Perform a vulnerability survey and then identify vulnerabilities from the results.
- Interpret information collected through network tools.
