Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor - Civil to join our team for an Stadium/Sports Arena construction project. The Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil) will play a pivotal role in the execution of quantity surveying activities related to the project. This position will be responsible for overseeing cost estimation, procurement, contract management, and cost control processes to ensure the project is delivered within budget and to the highest quality standards.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Utilize your expertise to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering works, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and contractual obligations.
- Lead procurement activities, including tendering processes, evaluation of bids, and negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage contractual agreements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Analyze and evaluate variations, claims, and change orders, providing timely recommendations and solutions to mitigate risks and maximize profitability.
- Implement robust cost control measures to monitor project expenditure against budget allocations.
- Generate comprehensive reports and forecasts on project costs, cash flow projections, and financial performance, providing insights to project stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities that may impact project costs and schedules and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
- Work closely with the project team to anticipate and address challenges proactively, ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in quantity surveying and cost management, with a focus on large-scale construction projects with minimum 3yrs+ experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).
- Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, PQS) is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control methodologies.
