Description:
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information
- Executes financial transactions (e.g. payments)
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Ensures compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control
- Aids in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
- Provides accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
- Issues periodic reports and statements to facilitate followup on clients and suppliers
- Interacts with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (e.g. suppliers)
- Verifies adherence to credit limits (clients and suppliers) during transaction execution
- Assists with auditor requests
- Supports periodic closing
- Verifies petty cash reconciliation and replenishment
- Reviews and approves work deliverables of Accountants
- Provides technical guidance to more junior team members
