A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experience Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join an exciting and innovative Middle East based adventure construction company. The company specialises in designing, constructing and running world class adventure facilities, some of their previous projects have been key within resort development across Saudi Arabia and UAE. They are agile and dynamic and deliver innovative experiences bringing adventure to every customers journey.

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance during the construction phase of our exciting projects. This six-month contract position involves overseeing and implementing HSE policies and procedures to safeguard the well-being of our workforce and preserve the environment during the construction of adventure activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
HSE Planning and Implementation
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE plans and procedures tailored to the specific requirements of large-scale construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with local Saudi health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

- Conduct thorough risk assessments for construction activities, identifying potential hazards and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety measures into the project planning and execution phases.

Training and Awareness:

- Provide comprehensive HSE training to project staff and contractors, ensuring understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness through regular communication, toolbox talks, and training sessions.

Incident Management:

- Establish and manage incident reporting and investigation procedures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of incidents.
- Develop corrective action plans to address identified issues and prevent recurrence.

Environmental Compliance:

- Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Implement measures to minimize the environmental impact of construction activities.

Contractor Management:

- Evaluate and approve HSE plans submitted by contractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of contractors to verify compliance with HSE standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Degree in Construction, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HSE Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Strong risk assessment and management skills.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- NEBOSH certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
- First Aid Certificate

**Notes**:
6 month fixed term contract initially.

Full company support with accommodation, flights, visas etc.

**Salary**: ﷼12,000.00 - ﷼15,000.00 per month
