**_Anaesthesia Consultant_**

Anaesthesia Consultant is responsible for the care of his /her patients in accordance with the ethics of the medical profession and the laws and customs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within his/her experience and training. Anaesthesia Consultant Provides consultations when needed and high quality care to all patients in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. Anaesthesia Consultant is highly trained in modern aspects of medical anaesthesia, leads anaesthesia care team and utilizes his /her knowledge and experience for the best interest of his /her patients.

**Education and Licensure**:

- Graduate from a recognized Medical School; with bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery (MBBS) or an equivalent degree.
- Saudi Board, Arab Board, American Board or Canadian, MRCP, MD in Anesthesia or its equivalent internationally recognized high medical qualifications in the related specialty.
- A valid classification and registration as Consultant in Anesthesia from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
- Valid certification of Basic life support and advanced cardiac life Support.
- Valid Pediatric advanced life support (PALS).

**Professional Experience**:

- Minimum of (3) three years of professional experience in the practice of the specialty after obtaining higher Medical Degree, Board certification, Fellowship or its equivalent.

**Specialized Knowledge& Skills**:

- Fluent in English, both oral and written. Arabic speakers will be at an advantage.
- Ability to work and supervise in a collegial and cooperative manner.
- Good general health, able to work extended hours under stress with near visual acuity and no uncorrected audiological problems.
