Junior Geologist

**Basic Function**:
Assist more senior Geologists in their geological work assignments around the process of acquiring, analyzing and interpreting geological data in order to provide accurate and customized services to clients.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Assist in the execution of exploration plans through Geotechnical logging and Surface sampling, perform in-situ testing under direction of upper level geologists. Assistance with other departments in the field as needed.
- Provide field data to engineering team from logging and testing. Maintain the quality and integrity of the geological models and databases Provide assistance and technical support for engineering team.
- Ensure that Fugro policies and procedures are understood, implemented and adhered to by all employees.

**Qualifications / Skills / Experience required**:

- Engineering Bachelor degree - Civil Engineering in Geotechnical or Geology
- Between 0 to 3 years of related work experience.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong orientation to working as a Team
- Problem solving skill
