**Purpose/Key Accountabilities**

Diver medical technician shall carry out all medical jobs related to the diving team beside his duties as a diver shall be able to carry out all routine and emergency procedures. Perform his duties under the instructions of his supervisor and assist diving supervisor.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensuring the health and safety of the divers in the chamber and the members of the life support team.
- Storing and maintaining medical and first aid supplies and equipment.
- Managing gas and consumables.
- Ensuring that all chambers and chamber equipment are in-date.
- Checking and maintaining the hyperbaric lifeboat.
- Supervising gas mixing.
- Supervising chamber checks and ensuring that forbidden items are not allowed into the chamber.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient running of the chamber system and the maintenance of comfortable living conditions for the divers in the chamber system.
- Ensuring that daily chamber logs are correctly completed and kept up to date.
- Ensuring that divers follow personal and chamber hygiene routines.
- Carrying out and logging medical treatments as required.
- Reporting any equipment faults, other potential hazards, near misses or accidents.
- Assisting the Diving Supervisor as required during a hyperbaric evacuation.
- Maintaining his own logbook.
- Beside his duties as a diver.

**HSE Responsibilities**
- Adequate understanding of job hazards to complete any assigned task safely.
- Will be responsible for:

- Follow supervisor’s instructions which are in line with company policies and guidelines.
- Learn and execute operational procedures on Health, Safety and Environmental Protection for the job in hand.
- Use personnel protective clothing and equipment as provided.
- Report any hazardous condition to the immediate supervisor and warning colleagues for their safety or health as necessary.
- Maintain Hand Tolls, Plant and Equipment in safe working condition and reporting any defect to the immediate supervisor.
- Report any accidents, however small and near-misses to the supervisor.
- Participate in HSE Meetings and contributing ideas to promote HSE causes.
- Participate in Safety incentive schemes.
- Participate in Tool Box Talks.

**Key Performance Indicators**

Maintain Equipment and his PPOE in best shape.

Perform the required task in a timely manner effectively & efficiently.

**Requirements**:
**Education**

Related University Degree or its equivalent.

The following Certificates:

- U.K. HSE Part 1 or Equivalent
- Diving First Aid
- DMT cert.

Possess an approved medical certificate and current logbook.

**Experience**

(4) years of experience in the offshore diving preferred in Oil & Gas and or related industry.

Age from 26 - 55 Years.

**Competencies**

Shall have enough knowledge, experience and training in various diving operations.

Must have enough hyperbaric knowledge.

**Skills**

Good in written and spoken English
