**Job Purpose**:
The Senior Hospitality Operations Manager provides the operational support for the self-managed hospitality properties of The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC), working with consultants, support staff, and third-party stakeholders towards the execution of departmental projects and deliverables. The role is integral in establishing the policies and procedures of the operating entities, ensuring they are positioned to perform their function at the highest level of international standards. The position further provides support and oversight for operational preparedness of the centralized facilities including but not limited to the laundry and catering operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research and provide analysis on specific project needs and scenarios to develop operational requirements
- Understand and implement the regulations associated with establishing and operating hotel entities in compliance with the rules, procedures, and standards of TRSDC and the relevant ministries and authorities
- Coordinate with colleagues across TRSDC departments on operations-related initiatives
- Participate in developing strategies to define objectives, organizational structures, and operating and partnership models
- Assist with developing departmental policies and procedures and hotel SOPs
- Participate in the set-up of the hotel operation by leading the hospitality critical path program, establishing OS&E requirements, designing the guest journey and service culture, and other related activities
- Work with operational and development teams to optimize the logistics and production of all F&B activities throughout the destination and ensure that equipment, resources, training and systems are properly planned and implemented
- Manage Operations consultants’ workloads, scopes, and deliverables
- Participate in developing business plans and financial models related to operating entities
- Ensure TRSDC’s aspirations and core values are reflected in all aspects of the project
- Identify and continuously engage with external project partners to ensure alignment of objectives
- Prepare and coordinate content for executive meetings and presentations
- Participate in project-related and departmental committees
- Work with the procurement department on the creation of requests for proposal, clarification, and approval (RFP, RFC, RFA) and other documents as required for the different functions and services of the company
- Participate in projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders and coordinate discussions with TRSDC stakeholders
- Provide on-going administrative support to the Hospitality Operations team and with ad hoc requests within the scope of employment
- MBA in Hospitality Management of relevant field is strongly preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry
- At least 5 years in a managerial role with steadily increasing responsibility in hospitality operations or Food & Beverage
- At least 5 years of experience as either: an owners’ representative supervising hotel operations; a corporate position at a leading international hotel company as pre-opening task force; or, consultancy at a regional or international firm advising on hotel operations and pre-openings
