Completar el inventario de los uniformes y la ropa blanca. Llevar a cabo el inventario mensual de las provisiones de la lavandería. Informar al gerente o supervisor sobre equipos defectuosos, necesidades de mantenimiento y riesgos para la seguridad. Capacitar a los empleados acerca de todos los procedimientos de lavandería, incluso procedimientos de seguridad y manejo de equipos. Verificar que se completen las solicitudes de lavandería de cada departamento según sea necesario. Operar y controlar la maquinaria para el lavado, la limpieza en seco y el secado. Inspeccionar la ropa blanca y las toallas a fin de detectar daños. Asistir a la gerencia en la contratación, capacitación, programación, evaluación, asesoramiento, disciplina, motivación y entrenamiento de los empleados.
