Facility Supervisor

Responsible for the security, maintenance and services of the work facilities to deliver greater adaptability, flexibility, and sustainability for the organization.

**Accountabilities**

**Management**:

- Team building by interviewing and hiring facility’s employees.
- Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels.
- Manage and develop training program for the staff.
- Supervising the teams across facility system.
- Oversees and supervises employees’ quality of work to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
- Assure the effective functioning of the facility to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees
- Conduct regular meetings with the team where the upkeep facility activities is on the agenda.
- Assets and Technology:

- Monitoring and managing the major assets and software within the facility to ensure maximum return on investment.
- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Provide frequent measures feedback to the concerned parties to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility.
- Prepare cost estimation for facility maintenance expenses and annual budget.

**Building and Landscaping/ **Maintenance**:

- Managing & ensuring the building is maintained, improved, managed, and the service providers are managing the operational with all utilities functioning properly.
- Overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments.
- Ensuring the efficiency of all building systems.
- Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
- Planning building maintenance and operational programs.
- Log the progress on building maintenance or renovation projects also assist with the general repairs when the need arises.
- Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
- Develop and implement facility management programs including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.
- Respond to clients and handle emergency issues promptly, including those related to repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain & ensure spare parts usage within budget.

**Processes/ Regulations & Services**:

- Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency.
- Ensuring all processes and compliance programs are met.
- Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility.
- Manage and supervise system repairs and monitor system performance.
- Plan for future development in line with strategic business objectives.
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
- Verify the compliance between payment/invoicing and contract pricing.
- Overseeing and agreeing contracts and service providers for facility systems.
- Plan and coordinate refurbishments such as MEP system.
- Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
- Ensuring all utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations.

**Reports**:

- Review team regular reports and facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures, operating and purchases reports.
- Review the filing reports with government and regulatory authorities including environmental permitting.
- Review documents to put out tenders for contractors as technical scope.

Employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

- Indoors : 90%
- Outdoors : 10%
- Working Days : 5 Working Days
- Days off : 2 Days Off
- Working Hours : 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1 hour break)

**Job Requirement**

**Education**
- **Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline**:

- **Certificate in safety**

**Experience**
- **3 Years of experience**

**Computer Skills**
- **MS Office Suite**

**Languages**
- **English**:
