Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently Hiring for Piping Designer II with experience in oil and gas, hydrocarbon refinery, offshore, mining or infrastructure industries having engineering drafting project experience.
- Originate new and revise existing engineering drawings
- Revise and check engineering drawings against company procedures, standards, and checklists
- Prepare complete bill of materials for all assigned drawings
- Supervise CADD work being produced by juniors
- Conduct and receive trainings related to job as required
- Awareness and following of all drafting aspects such as correct use of symbols, layers and formats
- Completion of work within allocated man-hours effectively and plan work to avoid slippage.
- Interfaces, coordinates and communicate effectively with the Project Lead and other team members
- Coordinates with all disciplines (as necessary) in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensure that other disciplines input are incorporated
- Go for site visits and verify site conditions and markup drawings/perform as-built activities
- Manage deliverables submission with required quality checks and proper management of record

Skills / Qualifications:

- Diploma / Degree in Engineering with minimum 2 Yrs. experience in executing Oil & Gas projects
- The applicant must be Certified by Saudi Council of Engineers
- Mandatory requirements - MS Office, Microstation, Smartplant, Navisworks
- Preferred - AutoCAD, Revit, OpenPlant
