**ole description:

- **

Responsible for the implementation, management and delivery of BIM on projects at a Business Unit Level
- esponsible for managing technical aspects of BIM production for projects or components of major projects
- pply the BIM processes and are capable of establishing and implementing a BIM Execution Plan (objectives, requirements and conditions) and a delivery strategy in conjunction with a client and delivery tea

- gree and implements project approach for collaboration with Global Design colleagues
- versee an agreed scope of BIM work and the operational workload of a project team including sub-contractors, ensuring BIM work is allocated appropriately and BIM resources are fully utilised
- nsure compliance with Arcadis BIM standards and national BIM standards
- eliver work that meet client and Arcadis requirements
- rovide technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project
- anage the performance of BIM practitioners in the project team, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues
- rovide technical BIM leadership at a project level
- anage the production of, and quality assure BIM deliverables to ensure that they meet or exceed client expectations as well as Arcadis requirements, and that they comply with national standards and codes of practice
- esolve complex modelling issues
- ork collaboratively with all design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution
- anage the production of complex coordinated project models that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project
- heck and verify that quality requirements have been achieved in accordance with Arcadis systems
- eep up to date with developments in the industry sector and with technical and legislative developments and seek out opportunities to develop a strong professional profile
- aintain records of Continuing Professional Development and are able to make these available for audit by their professional institution
- anage the BIM process supported by the necessary tools.
- nsure compliance with ARCADIS drafting and BIM standards and national drafting and BIM standards throughout all projects
- here required, assist the Team BIM manager with the creation of BIM standards and processes
- uide a project team through the BIM process and provide ad hoc assistance to the wider practice when required
- iaise with the project team, client and consultants to review all BIM models for the project and make any necessary amendments

- romote the use of BIM and best practice throughout the organization
Q

**ualifications & Experience:

- **
- ave achieved Engineering Technician status or equivalent through a recognised professional institution and may be looking to convert this to Incorporated status
- ave at least 10 years relevant experience in design, drafting and BIM management
- ave knowledge of the most important specifications and Description of BIM (ICT) tooling
- ave capability to use ICT tools for viewing and coordinating BIM
- ave capability in 2 or 3 BIM modelling related software packages
- xperienced in setting up and coordinating a BIM Protocol and Execution Plan for a given project
