Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Project Engineer **to join our team In this role you will provides technical support to project management across all disciplines to coordinate the development and implementation of the engineering portions of assigned projects..

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Technical Review of improvement plans, technical specifications, construction estimates, design calculations for compliance with approved design criteria and good civil engineering practice.
- Provide support for the Private Projects Section in reviewing the design drawings and coordinating with other sections.
- Assists Senior Project Manager in the preparation of requests for proposals prepares and/or reviews contract documents develops scopes of projects. Review change orders and contract modifications for technical accuracy and requirement.
- Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of the client.
- Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
- Establish the program implementation requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
- Responsible for executing project plans in coordination with key subordinates after careful assessment of project execution plan.
- Make recommendations to create project teams capable of completing effective and quality work.
- Work with the key project individuals to devise the execute actions plans to rectify potential conflicts, coordination issues and delays.
- Monitors the reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions.
- Establishes weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.
- Performs other project management functions as required by Management

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized University with 4 years of postgraduate experience.
- Basic knowledge of engineering and construction disciplines.
- The ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English is essential.
- Computer literate and proficient with the industry standard and design software for engineering projects and MS Office package.
