**Coating Specialist**

The Coating Specialist is responsible for setting up and operating coating booths for the coating of turbine components.

**How You Will Make an Impact**
- Follow standard operating procedures, specifications and instructions of higher-level technical personnel and monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
- Follow coating recipes.
- Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
- Adjust set up and process operations accordingly.
- Inspect and examine parts in conformance to specifications and check for external defects.
- Ability to test coat weights, and functional properties after coating to ensure the production quality.
- Load raw material into machine and unload finished product.
- Perform tests and check product routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices and making some judgments against not readily measurable standards.
- Reposition fixtures, adjust components, or otherwise adjust machines to improve coating quality.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What You Bring**
- Working knowledge with coating processes. APS and HVOF technologies.
- ABB and/or Fanuc robot programming highly appreciated.
- Technical aptitude is a must.
- Mechanical, chemical, or electrical polytechnic diploma/ engineering or Technical Certification.
- Previous coating experience is a must.
- Must have working knowledge of the use of a PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
