- Primary responsible for Aviation on the Job raining (OJT) for the Aviation Maintenance Division supporting the aviation battalion. Assist in the developing of training plans, curriculum, training aids use, training publications and courseware under the direction of the IMSS Training Supervisor. Directs mechanic trainers in the use and standardization of training management systems. Assist in the Planning and execution of training and evaluation of customer maintainers in accordance with the customer requirements and US Army Aviation Training Manuals. Facilitates academic and hands-on performance training and administer evaluations to ensure maintainers proficiency and standardization of training. Responsible for maintaining Individual Job Books, Automated Maintainer Training Files (TMS). Directly responsible for all aspects of training record keeping requirements and training reports for the battalion and contractor personnel.**Major Duties and Responsibilities**

A. Duties/responsibilities:
1. Assist schedules classes.

2. Helps oversee the successful completion of projects and events.

3. Recommends changes to improve performance and efficiencies of all training programs.

4. Assists in the development and maintains on the job training SOP’s.

5. Assists all trainers and course managers in meeting their program training requirements.

6. Assists in the development and maintains the IMSS On-the-Job Training SOP.

7. Performs technical writing and editing when updating MNG Task Books, performance measures, and evaluations.

8. Tracks MNG soldier progress and IMSS employee qualifications.

9. Delegate tasks to appropriate team members

10. Provide high-quality administrative, process management, and reporting support to the Leaders and assist in the smooth functioning of office operations as required.

B. Independence: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities under the direction and supervision of the IMSS Training Supervisor.

**C. **Supervisory Responsibilities: None

**Minimum Qualifications**

**A.** Education Level:
- 1. Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.**B.** Training Certifications:
1. Required: Required: Graduate of a US Military aircraft maintenance course or civilian equivalent required.

2. Preferred: Graduate of a US Military platform instructor course or civilian equivalent.

**C.** Experience:
1. Required: Minimum of four years’ experience in aviation maintenance operation and one-year previous training experience.

2. Preferred: Minimum of six years’ experience in aviation maintenance operation and two-year previous training experience.

**D.** Specific knowledge, skills, ability:
- 1. Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.- 2. Proficient in MS Office software.- 3. Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.- 4. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.- 5. Possess a valid issued driver’s license.- E. Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
