Bim Supervisor

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Supervisor to join our team In this role the successful applicant will be responsible for setting BIM Policy and Procedures in accordance with the RC Lifecycle/Stage Gate Process covering all phases of the Lifecycle process from Project Inception, Design though to Construction and FM aspects and will involve Leading/Managing/Mentoring a team of BIM modelers, providing technical guidance and training.
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Reports directly to the Manager of the Engineering Department and requires regular interaction with representatives from a variety of functional groups including other departments within Technical Affairs Division, and other internal or external stakeholders as required.
- Develop BIM strategy and standards.
- Oversee the implementation of BIM throughout the project.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define BIM requirements.
- Developing and Updating RC Guiding Engineering Manual (GEM) and other related RC Standards in accordance with ISO ISO19650-1 and ISO19650-2
- Overseeing the BIM production process, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient workflows
- Resource allocation for BIM-related activities.
- Manage and mentor a team of BIM modelers, providing technical guidance and training.
- Perform quality control checks on BIM models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to resolve clashes and maintain model integrity.
- Develop and maintain BIM libraries and content creation guidelines.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improving BIM processes and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest BIM technologies and trends.
- Contribute to proposals and presentations, showcasing BIM capabilities to clients.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the BIM execution plan (BEP) for each project.
- Manage project budgets and schedules related to BIM activities.
- Document and report on BIM activities and progress.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience as a BIM modeler or in a related role.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team.
- Strong proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
- Excellent understanding of BIM principles and best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Additional experience with related software like AutoCAD or 3ds Max a plus.
- Certifications in BIM software or methodologies preferred.
