**Job Overview**
The Lead Coach, reports to the Academy Manager. To support the growth of the IJF Academy squad program through strategic coordination and professional coaching. The Lead Coach will work as part of the IJF coaching team and in line with the IJF philosophy. As Lead Coach, y you will play an integral role in the development and advancement of our players within the football program. Working closely with the coaching staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching sessions, fostering skill development, and promoting a positive team environment. Your passion for the sport and dedication to player growth will contribute to the overall success of our program here at IJF Academy.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
**1. Lead and Deliver IJF Squad Programme**:
Take charge of the IJF Squad programme, ensuring alignment with the core values and principles of the International Judo Federation (IJF). Lead the execution of the programme, overseeing its implementation and delivery to achieve desired outcomes.
**2. Collaboration with IJF Management**:
Collaborate closely with IJF management to understand and work towards the aims and objectives of the squad programme. Provide regular updates and feedback to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
**3. Implementation of Holistic Development Programme**:
Develop and implement a comprehensive development programme for all squads under your responsibility. Ensure that the programme addresses the holistic needs of participants, encompassing physical, mental, and emotional aspects.
**4. Management of Games Programme**:
Manage and coordinate a structured games programme for all squads, ensuring adequate participation and competitive opportunities. Oversee scheduling, logistics, and coordination of matches, tournaments, and other competitive events.
**5. Stakeholder Communication Leadership**:Take the lead in all communications with stakeholders, including staff, players, parents, and third-party partners. Foster effective relationships and ensure clear and timely communication to support the success of the programme.
**6. Development Opportunities for Non-IJF Squad Players**:
Provide development opportunities for players outside the IJF Squad programme, promoting inclusivity and growth within the wider judo community.
**7. Termly Reporting for IJF Squad Players**:
Provide and review written termly reports for all IJF Squad players, offering insights into their progress and areas for improvement.
**8. Delivery of Age-Appropriate Afterschool Programme**:
Support and deliver an age-appropriate afterschool programme, catering to the needs and interests of young judoka.
**9. Implementation of Age-Appropriate Camp Programme**:
Support and deliver an engaging and enriching camp programme suitable for participants of different ages and skill levels.
**10. Engagement with Partner Schools**:
Collaborate with partner schools to promote and facilitate the growth of the IJF programmes, fostering partnerships and community involvement.
**11. Compliance with IJF Policies and Procedures**:
Ensure adherence to all IJF policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of conduct and professionalism.
**12. Management of Domestic and International Tours**:
Assist with the management and coordination of domestic and international tours, facilitating valuable learning and competitive experiences for participants.
**13. Support for Social Media Channels**:
Support the management of social media channels, contributing to the promotion and visibility of the IJF programmes.
**14. Continuous Professional Development (CPD)**:
Maintain an active and up to date CPD plan, engaging in relevant training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
**15. Additional Tasks as Requested by IJF Management**:
Complete any other tasks or responsibilities as requested by IJF management, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the organization's success.
