**What are the primary responsibilities associated with this position?**
- **Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance**:

- Design the architecture topology for integration/APIM platforms.
- Install and configure webMethods Integration Servers along with related components such as Universal Messaging, Adapters, My webMethods, and API Management Enterprise.
- Set up and configure the webMethods Microservice Runtime (MSR) for deployments based on containerization.
- Configure and manage API Microgateway to ensure lightweight, container-based enforcement of API security.
- Maintain high availability and optimal performance of essential host computer resources.
- **User and Security Management**:

- Oversee user accounts, roles, and permissions in line with organizational policies.
- Establish and uphold security policies and procedures to ensure compliance across all integration solutions.
- **System Monitoring and Troubleshooting**:

- Actively monitor the webMethods infrastructure with suitable tools and address issues as they occur.
- Implement monitoring solutions for containerized webMethods services utilizing tools like Prometheus and Grafana to ensure efficient resource use and real-time service health monitoring.
- Diagnose and resolve problems related to the microservices architecture, including container networking, Kubernetes pod failures, and scaling challenges.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues associated with webMethods integration flows and adapters to ensure system stability and performance.
- **Backup and Recovery**:

- Establish and maintain strategies for backing up and recovering webMethods Integration Servers and critical data.
- Conduct regular system backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
- **Patch Management and Upgrades**:

- Plan and implement patches and upgrades for the webMethods servers, carefully following best practices to guarantee system stability and security.
